Rawdon’s Keepsakes provides the Parkland and surrounding area with memorial items such as bio-degradable urns, giftware, fresh and silk flower arrangements, casket sprays and personalized decor for funerals and memorials. We spend time to learn about your loved one so we can personalize each memorial piece that represents how they lived their lives.
Below are some unique memorial items we offer.
With The Living Urn, Life Continues. The patent pending Living Urn is America’s first and leading Bio Urn & Planting System designed to grow a beautiful, enduring memory tree, plant, or flowers with cremated remains! Honor a loved one when they pass on and celebrate and commemorate all they’ve given us – the joy, the companionship, the love – and keep their memory present in our lives! Give back and grow a living memory with The Living Urn.
We’ve spent years working with leading soil scientists and arborists to develop the most advanced Bio Urn and Planting System on the market today. The patent pending Living Urn is complex in its design, but it’s simple and easy to use. Place your loved one’s cremated remains in the BioUrn and add our proprietary RootProtect ash neutralizing agent on top. Next, lower the tree seedling roots into our special BioUrn, add our premium growth mix, and plant it in the ground. A beautiful, enduring living memorial will then grow up from the urn and the cremated remains to keep your loved one’s memory present in your life!
The Living Urn for People and The Living Urn for Pets Bio Urn & Planting Systems include everything you need to plant and grow a beautiful memory tree, plant, or flowers from the cremated remains of a loved one.
Step 1: Purchase Your Living Urn and Select Your Seedling (or baby tree). Ask us about the various tree and seed options for humans and for pets.
Step 2: After you receive The Living Urn, fill the Bio Urn with the cremated remains of your loved one (or, if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, have your funeral home or crematorium (or veterinarian for pets) fill the Bio Urn with the remains).
Step 3: When your tree seedling arrives, follow the planting instructions provided with The Living Urn to plant a living memory… pour our proprietary RootProtect ash neutralizing agent on top of the cremated remains; then, place the soil mix and wood chips on top of the neutralizing agent.
Step 4: Plant – it’s that simple! A beautiful memory tree will then grow and keep your beloved family member’s memory present in your life!
